Welcome to our little corner of the universe — Luv Light Meow!
My name is Ellie. I'm a web lady by day and cat mom all day, every day.
Sharing my home with multiple rescue cats is one of the greatest joys of my life — and yes, it comes with its share of vet bills and fur-covered furniture! From caring for my diabetic baby and managing thyroid medication to helping Sunny recover from a major PU surgery in 2025, life with rescue cats is never boring. It's a full-time labor of love.
🐾 Why I Started This Shop
This shop is a heart-centered project to help cover the daily and medical expenses of my furry family — food, annual checkups, vaccinations, and ongoing veterinary care.
I've always believed that every cat deserves a chance at a safe, happy, and healthy life. Over the years, I've cared for many rescue cats and strays, including one little girl who needed an amputation after being attacked by a dog. Some people thought I was crazy for paying for her surgery, but I never regretted it for a second.
Love makes us do wild and wonderful things.

🌱 The Dream
One day, I hope to buy five acres of land with a cozy home, a beautiful kitty barn, and a spacious catio.
I imagine my rescue cats lounging in the sunshine, watching birds from the safety of the catio, and enjoying more room to roam than my little house can currently provide. I'd love to grow a food garden nearby and create a peaceful sanctuary filled with purring, nature, and love.
That's the dream that keeps me going.

🌟 Why Cats & Spirituality?
Because I love cats, period. 😸
On a more serious note, I believe cats are master teachers. They have taught me unconditional love, patience, trust, and the importance of living in the present moment.
Over the years, they have also deepened my connection to spirituality. Through their quiet presence, I've learned to listen more closely to my intuition, honor life's natural rhythms, and stay open to the unseen magic that surrounds us.
A small part of my journey includes spiritual exploration. I'm a Level II Certified Holy Fire Reiki practitioner and currently learning light language and intuitive energy work. While I don't offer professional spiritual services, these practices inspire the intention, love, and care I bring into everything I create.
To me, cats are both companions and teachers — and Luv Light Meow is where my love for cats, creativity, and spiritual curiosity come together.

🐱 Giving Back
For every purchase made through Luv Light Meow, 1% of sales will be donated to Operation Pets Alive (OPA), a nonprofit organization in Montgomery County, Texas, that rescues and rehomes cats, dogs, rabbits, and other small animals. They also operate a Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program that helps support community cat colonies.
Although I recently stepped back from volunteering after welcoming our newborns, OPA remains close to my heart. I continue to support their mission with love and gratitude, and I'm honored that this shop allows me to give back to an organization that has helped so many animals find loving homes.
